YAD-Network trains Students on Leadership, Potential Development and Effective Study Habit

On Thursday, 4th of February, 2016, an awareness campaign and training session  on Leadership, Potential Development and Effective Study Habit-the second for year 2016 was held  at Corner Stone International School, G.R.A Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.  Over 200 senior secondary students from the Commercial, Sciences and Art classes participated.
An initiative of tYouth Aid Development Initiative YADI, the workshop aimed to empower youths with lifeskills, diplomatic civility and best practice in academic works while also fostering leadership development opportunity and all-round success in life. The objective was to expose students to effective life-skills that would propel them  towards greatness through self-discovery, potential development, academic success and all-round excellence in life. Specifically, this training helped to provide step-by-step guide on discovering the inner abilities of students, consolidating on good study habits as a means of achieving excellent grades in school as well as teaching unique leadership principles for groundbreaking accomplishment in life.

Through a lively and effective responsiveness , students demonstrated incredible passion for leadership by actively participating in the different sessions.Through intelligent and an almost overwhelming set of questions, it was indeed a mind-blowing moment  both for the school
officials, the teachers and our team.

Free training manuals were provided to all participants for long-term learning. The School officials and students expressed their appreciation to YADi Volunteers and requested for more of such training in future.

The Basic Employability Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities 2018

It was a resounding success as we kickstarted the Basic Employability Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities (Project BEST-4-PWDs) in commemoration of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities 2018. This year's theme is focused on Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Ensuring Inclusion and Equality. The BEST4PWDs is a partnership project and a continuous capacity development program for our community of PWds. The program was held on Tuesday 4th of December, 2018 in Ibadan, Nigeria.
