ABOUT Youth Aid Development Foundation

Youth Aid Development Foundation is a non-profit and a youth  established in 2014 to provide human capital developments trainings, counseling and mentoring services towards helping at-risk youth and Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWDs) to be successful in life and productive citizens in the society.  We work with  industry leaders towards empowering youth in underserved communities by providing them with the necessary supports and leadership skills aimed at enhancing their (P)otential, (A)cademics, (C)haracter and (E)mployment, as well as engaging them to become change-makers and productive members of society through civic and political participation

Our investment in our community is to better equip youths in underserved communities and re-integrate them to the society with the goal of expanding their capacity for attaining overall success in life; transforming them into societal role models and good ambassadors of their family, community and nation; with ultimate goal of improving our community life and promoting a peaceful and prosperous society for all.

We foster positive outcomes for young people and Persons Living With Disabilities  by creating a healthy human environment of belonging, provide growth opportunities, foster positive relationships, and furnishing them with the support to build the character and skills needed to be super-achievers in life.

The Mentoring and Capacity Building Program organised   by Youth Aid Development Initiativeheld at Olubi Memorial Grammar School, Molete Ibadan on Thursday March 17, 2017 achieved a stellar success. The Basic Employability Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities 2018

It was a resounding success as we kickstarted the Basic Employability Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities (Project BEST-4-PWDs) in commemoration of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities 2018. This year's theme is focused on Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Ensuring Inclusion and Equality. The BEST4PWDs is a partnership project and a continuous capacity development program for our community of PWds. The program was held on Tuesday 4th of December, 2018 in Ibadan, Nigeria. The workshop centred on developing  Self-Motivation and Leadership competencies, and leveraging on Digital Skills to Fastrack Career Success. Youth Leadeaship Summer Camp

Join us this year for the Youth Leadership Summer camp !!This is a 1 week non-residential camp put up by the Youth Aid Development Initiative i n collaboration with the United States Diplomatic Mission, American Corner Ibadan and Diplo-Age Finishing Academy for up to 50 youths and teenagers (ages 13-21). This summer camp will give young people the opportunity to learn about themselves, youth assets, leadership skills, goal setting, teamwork, communication, and creative problem solving. The Youth Leadership Camp is for young persons who want to increase their leadership skills and have their voices heard. Youth participate in hands-on, decision-making activities assisted by trained facilitators, including youth who have previously participated.
