The Ability-In-Disability Conference 1.0

Youth Aid Development Foundation has partnered with Angel Wings Global Freedom Foundation in organizing the first-ever Ibadan Ability-In-Disability Conference 1.0

The conference aims to inspire leadership and advocacy towards building a more collaborative, inclusive and diverse environment that promotes the rights of Persons Living with Disabilities.

The conference is aimed at empowering people with disabilities and their families, as well as bring together Civil Society Organizations, Professionals, administrators, policy- makers, and researchers towards discussing and promoting the rights of Persons Living With Disabilities.

The Basic Employability Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities 2018

"It always seem impossible until it is done"--Nelson Mandela. It was a resounding success as we kickstarted the Basic Employability Skills Training for Persons with Disabilities (Project BEST-4-PWDs) in commemoration of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities 2018. This year's theme is focused on Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Ensuring Inclusion and Equality. The BEST4PWDs is a partnership project and a continuous capacity development program for our community of PWds. The program was held on Tuesday 4th of December, 2018 in Ibadan, Nigeria. The workshop centred on developing  Self-Motivation and Leadership competencies, and leveraging on Digital Skills to Fastrack Career Success. Youth Leadeaship Summer Camp

Join us this year for the Youth Leadership Summer camp !!This is a 1 week non-residential camp put up by the Youth Aid Development Initiative i n collaboration with the United States Diplomatic Mission, American Corner Ibadan and Diplo-Age Finishing Academy for up to 50 youths and teenagers (ages 13-21). This summer camp will give young people the opportunity to learn about themselves, youth assets, leadership skills, goal setting, teamwork, communication, and creative problem solving. The Youth Leadership Camp is for young persons who want to increase their leadership skills and have their voices heard. Youth participate in hands-on, decision-making activities assisted by trained facilitators, including youth who have previously participated.
