The Young African Diplomats Network(YADN); an initiative that promotes social development, humanitarianism, Youth development and good governance organised the Youth Diplomats Forum and Free Capacity Building for Secondary Schools. This event took place on Monday ,18th of January, 2016 at the Orogun Grammar School,  Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria. The theme of the training was Effective Communication, Excellent Reading/Writing Skill and Leadership.

Zika is a disease caused by Zika virus that is spread to people primarily through the bite of an infected Aedes species mosquito. The Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS)

The Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS) is offering six financial need-based scholarships for high school students from the African continent to attend YYGS this summer at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. The scholarship will cover tuition, airfare and travel expenses to the program. The Yale Young Global Scholars Program is open to students who have one or two years of secondary school remaining, and offers six unique two-week sessions. The Right Thing, the Invisible Knowledge.

There is one big thing missing in our Society, it’s the one thing which I believe can make our society O.K – the basic truth about these aspect is that this one thing doesn’t cost us nothing, we don’t even have to pay. The explanation lies on the understanding of doing the Right Thing Every day. Yes, we all have failed in the respect of doing the right thing. Explaining this alignment is a simple one, we all have forgotten that we all are the aspirant of making our world a better place (O.K). The Problem I foresee is the inability to choose or do the right thing, things that would better our society. Despite that we all see and acknowledge several things that are bad or incompatible within our society we choose not to correct it, all we do is focus on our very own personal gain.

 For a while now, I have been thinking about writing something on learning to say NO because very often I get to see people say YES to everything and anything. YES to things that get them annoyed, things they do not like. YES to going out with people that they do not enjoy being with.
