THE 2016 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SUMMIT AND LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

  The City of Ibadan witnessed one of the most  impactful  and life-transforming event at the 2016 International Youth Summit and Leadership Conference. The Young African Diplomats Network, a youth and social development organization- established in 2014 with the aim of building the leadership capacity of youths in Urban and rural communities towards making them global citizens and leaders, hosted the maiden edition of The International Youth Summit and Leadership Conference (IYSLC). The conference was held on Wednesday 30th of November, 2016 at the American Corner Ibadan, tagged "The Impact of Good Governance and the Role of Young Nigerians as Global Shapers."

Tony Elumelu Foundation Launches TEEP 2017 Application in January

The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) will begin accepting requests for the third round of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme. The Programme is the Foundation’s 10-year, US$100 million commitment to training, mentoring and funding 10,000 African entrepreneurs. The application portal will be open until   midnight   (WAT),   March 1, 2017 . Entrepreneurs must complete the online application and selection is on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged.

Anglican Grammar School Orita-Mefa, Total Garden, Ibadan, Oyo State on Thursday, 11th of February, 2016 witnessed a re-awakening and life-changing moment after experiencing the Career Development and Skill Empowerment Series (CDSES) organized by Youth Aid Development Initiative. With over 350 senior secondary school students in attendance comprising of S.S.S 1,2&3 Arts,Commercial and Science students, Youth Aid Dev.trained students in quintessential reading, writing and study skill as well as providing counselling sevices to help students gain clarity and excellence in different career paths.

The Right Thing, the Invisible Knowledge.

There is one big thing missing in our Society, it’s the one thing which I believe can make our society O.K – the basic truth about these aspect is that this one thing doesn’t cost us nothing, we don’t even have to pay. The explanation lies on the understanding of doing the Right Thing Every day. Yes, we all have failed in the respect of doing the right thing. Explaining this alignment is a simple one, we all have forgotten that we all are the aspirant of making our world a better place (O.K). The Problem I foresee is the inability to choose or do the right thing, things that would better our society. Despite that we all see and acknowledge several things that are bad or incompatible within our society we choose not to correct it, all we do is focus on our very own personal gain.
